I can see the VDB and ther are traces of something below the date but I don't think it is in the right place. I'm thinking what you might have is an 09 VDB that someone added an S to which has since fallen off.

I see a fuzzy S there just right of the 0. Is that where it's supposed to be? Maybe you can hold a 10X against the lens and try to get us a clearer closeup.

Spock, there is supposed to be a tiny die gouge just inside the obv. rim between the R and U of trust, and a die chip inside the B of liberty. If you can see these, it confirms that it is an S vdb, but if they aren't there it doesn't mean it isn't one.(PCGS guide, 2nd ed, p.307).

It does say that those 2 dings if they are there go a long way to confirming it as authentic.

I thought the ding was supposed to be "on" the rim but the PCGS book shows iton the field coming from the rim , it runs almost parralel to the rim , check it with your loupe , stronger the better at least 10-20X .

DOUG is there any way you could enlarge the area between the R & U of trust , and the B of liberty for us to see them better .

Sorry Spock but no scanner , but it's right in between the R & U on the field right next to the inside of the rim .

Also there is a die chip on the inside of the top loop of the B in Liberty .
