    an intresting find

well let me start by saying that i am not a collector, but i do find coins intresting. well i am the general manager for a residential demolition companie. when i was inspecting a home we were to tear down i found what appeared to be a false wall in a closet. well needless to say i tore it open and inside i found a large box of coins there is a proof set run from 1965-2006 ,commeritives, various date morgans(17), 3 gold coins, lots of individually carded coins + alot of older forien coins several are silver oh and 2 1 troy oz. silver bars. i know im forgeting lots but i guess my question is where can i get the best price for this collection?

If you have patience, you can try Ebay, with a lot of patience.
Or try a copule of coin dealers in your area.

I was really surprised when I looked at my hand full of change today and saw...

An 1893 IHC! It's incredible that I got this, even if it's not in very good condition anymore. What are the odds of still receiving one of these things in change?

Out of curiosity, what would it grade? AG-3? G-4?

It does still happen, nice find :high5: The coin looks like it may have been found in the ground and suffered some corrosion. It would probably grade P01 because of that.

Is there some reason why those coins should not be returned to the owner of the property? That's the only thing I can see that you might be forgetting.
