Before I moved I lost a 1914 hobo nickel. My stupid cat knocked it off a photography table and it disappeared. It still haunts me today.
Most of the old folders were not made from acid-free paper. So the longer they were in the folders some became damaged I think.

Well... I found another coin tonight. I was looking at some toned Canadian Dollars I had purchased on ebay, the kind with the opening boxes with the foam backing. The foam backing popped off of a 1972 dollar I had been looking at. Someone must have put this behind the foam many years ago.
