Found in 2022 roll.

    I would check it with a micrometer. Could it be a defective planchet, with the upsetting machine forming a normal rim but the surface being too low? It does have a complete copper plating. It just seems too odd to be a greaser, but that's just me.

    It's an odd one for sure.. if it was pmd the plating would be Penetrated on the LI of liberty and the last 2 of 2022 at least, the plating just isn't that thick to be able to remove letters or numbers without removing the plating. Greaser... I don't know. Doesn't look like greasers I've seen....

    Was it the only one in the box? Or were there weaker ones with it?

    I only got $3 in rolls. I have gone through $2 worth so far. All of the other coins look normal.
