To me, this is a real hoot. Back in March, I ordered some bison rolls directly from the mint, that finally arrived today. In the "excitement" of reading about error coins, and the fact that they are a new issue, I decided to go by my local dealer and get a few rolls from him too. Just to have some extra.... you know how it is. So I bought a couple bison, peace medal, and keelboat rolls. This morning, I am at the local quick mart getting a cup of coffee. I noticed the cashier breaking a new roll of nickels, and she gives me a bison nickel out of it. I got to to thinking that a trip by the bank might not be a bad idea. So I go by my local branch to get some coins to search. I asked for 10 rolls of nickels, and low and behold, I got 10 rolls of Bison "D", in the identical wrapper that my coin dealer had them in. Of course, now I will continue to go by that branch and get nickels. I would like to have seen some P mints, but I cannot complain. Is it me, or was this a neat little find? Should I break the rolls and search for errors, or keep them as is? BTW, on another thread (<-link) the question was asked about circulated vs uncirculated about the above mentioned nickel the cashier handed me. Is it circulated or uncirculated? The answer to that question is: If you are buying, that nickel is "circulated". If you are selling, it is "uncirculated". If you are selling on Ebay, it is "proof condition" or MS-69
