Found at the Bank

if it was from a bank it is a quite a find. i have been a bank teller for quite a few years and seen pretty much everything. i have yet to have an ASE in any shape or form. congrats with your lucky find

No, there isn't. That's why it was stuck in the currency drawer in the slot with the $2 bills.


Besides, even if it is counterfeit, it's not like I spent anywhere near bullion value on it. I think I can stand to take a chance. Besides, I massed the coin, and it was 31.1g. That is the weight of a normal ASE, and if it's counterfeit, it's a very good one, enough to raise some concern over how good the Chinese are getting.

 

Nice coin.. If it is a fake then it would have fooled me..I can't find anything really out of sorts on it.. Nice find. I think the Chinese would counterfeit something better then a 2006 ASE.
