I recently purchased a colorized Ohio statehood quarter for my collection, but when I tried to look it up on line, it doesn't show any examples of the one that I have. The one that I currently own is colorized on both sides, has the design for the colorized DOLLAR of the Space Shuttle Columbia tilted in a diagonal course to the right and the dates of April 12,1981 and below that the date February 1, 2003 to the right of the shuttle. Above the shuttle it says "SPACE SHUTTLE COLUMBIA" and below the shuttle it says "American Heroes of Space". On the obverse side of the coin that would be the "tails" side it has the usual colorization for the standard colorized quarter with the "BIRTHPLACE OF AVIATION PIONEERS" slogan the outline of the state of Ohio with the state depicted in blue, the state name OHIO at the top and 1803 just below the state name, as well as 2002 printed at the bottom of the picture. I just don't understand why I can't find another like it online, why does the shuttle patter picture only appear on the $1 coins like this and not show as appearing on the quarters of Ohio in the colorized statehood collection or in the commemorative coins for the Space Shuttle Columbia collection? If anyone can help me solve this mystery, please let me know. Thank you.
