I'll jump back on this train-wreck for a few more posts. Here is a serious answer. What "facts" do you have, other than your opinion, to support your conclusion your coin was struck using the same die as the PCGS you cite? I do not see your coin as a DDO. As far as my comment about ignorance or stupidity, I would choose ignorance for reasons which are obvious to me, yet you chose stupidity. Why?
Please explain where your coin shows the actual Doubled die in question. Short answer, it doesn’t. Sorry.
Because you're arrogant and not that hard to figure out. Frankly I couldn't care less if you block me, ignore my post's, or even if you comment on every single one. I didn't ask you whether it was a DDO, I asked for an opinion of grade and value on it under the assumption its a DDO. My "facts" are that I'm not using terrible pictures to make my determination, what are your facts?
There are very distinct characteristics my coin shares with a confirmed example from PCGS. So unless you're saying PCGS is wrong, Then please tell me how I'm wrong by saying that unless by some miracle there was an exact twin of this die created, it literally HAS to be a Double Die... Since I'm not the expert, and you are, please tell me how that statement is incorrect
The facts as I see them, are that your pictures ARE bad and because of that, we can’t even determine that it is a DD. Grade? What does it matter? It is a common circulated 1966P cent. Value? 1 cent. Until you can provide decent pictures that will be my standing along with everyone else here.
I guess this is an open question, so I'll take it. Your assumption that your coin is DDO is not valid, however, as a run of the mill coin I think: Grade-F40, Value-1 cent.
From identifying individual die characteristics this coin shares with every single other 1966 DDO graded by pcgs, including the ones posted on here lol. If you can't see them in the bad pictures, I'm sorry, but assuming you're correct because you can't tell makes you just as ignorant and cocky as I am... Clearly
I have a bit of a leg up in the experience department compared to your, obvious, lack of knowledge. An apparent couple of years dabbling in coin collecting and the thrill of finding a valuable coin has gone to your head. I would estimate the combined years of knowledge of the members who responded to you is in the hundreds, mine alone is 55 years. You are not the first individual who challenged the knowledge of members of CT, knowingly or not, and you won't be the last. Your lack of knowledge is evident in your acceptance of an F-40 grade. For example: Can you list all the check-marks which lead you to believe your coin was produced by the die in the referenced PCGS sampling you undertook? How many coins were graded by PCGS? In other words, what specific features/anomalies are common to your coin?
Would you care to compare intelligence quotients? State yours so I can dwarf your number or are you afraid?
