Danomite What do you say uh-huh

I can’t tell much from your picture. I see something it the top right of the entry but I can’t make it out. You need to post a full picture of the reverse. In the link I provide below is the listing of DDRs for 2019 P. Use the die markers to see if yours matches then let us know what You find. That’s the best way to learn. ;)

Looks like single squeeze doubling. Usually found around the center devices.

nothing matches exactly. But it looks similar to many of the DDRs in that list.

Well whatever it is, it looks very similar to the items on brians varieties.

Brian's error list is a bit dated. In time he will catch up. I have about 5 or 6 "extra door frame" nickels. Below is my oldest, a 1972 P

Ok, so there are still some that are discovered that havent been added yet. But you can confirm that mine is a DDR, right? Just incase my crazy eyes are lying to me again.

That is what Colorado Bryan said. Single squeeze doubling.
Some refer to this type of doubling as mechanical doubling. And some a doubled die.
    click on centrally located doubling.

Ok, so its related to the 2009 extra thumb DDR. Thank you, I had forgotten to bookmark error ref.

Did you read the reference? Yes this type of doubling is the same type as the extra thumb, at the same time, it is one of the 9 different class's of doubled dies.
Scroll down a bit till you find the Single squeeze era. Actually the whole page is a good read. You can click on each class of doubled dies, and it will explain how each are created.
