Wow.....First nickel I found was the 1947....Then I found the 1939.....And last the 1969s....There was a few Nickels in between them as I was going through the roll. That was a eye opener, that does not happen too often. Well, it doesn't happen to me too often!
Keep searching. So far out of about 50 rolls I’ve found a couple of buffalo nickels and some war nickels 3 1943 S and a 1943 P. And the years surrounding that date. I’m hunting for a Henning nickel but I’ll keep anything 50’s and earlier until I complete my collection. I also have a bunch of 1968S,1969S and 1970S seem to be very common.
Oh I forgot to mention the 1899 V nickel I’ve found last week. It’s amazing this stuff is still floating around out there in coin rolls from the bank.
Amberlarry22 Yes Mr.Q....They were from a bank roll.....My bank is about 1 1/2 miles from my house and once a week I go up and trade rolls of coins with them....I am sure I could walk up there and back.....Well......If I was a youngin I could
