Found a 1941-P DDO this week. Causes me a question.

    I found this on the other day.

    It does match CopperCoins 1941P-1DO-019.

    The question this raise is as follows. I have had a 1935 Wheat Penny in a 2x2 since about 1966 that has something similar. I was told back then that it was PMD. I would kind of like some new opinions about the 1935.

    I'm not so sure your 41 isn't PMD. It looks like the T was hit from above, pushing left side of it down and lower than the right side.

    As for the 35, it almost looks like it was struck with a cracked die that was filled. It doesn't look like PMD.

    I think the 1941 is damaged. It looks similar but not near the real thing. As for the 1935, it's worn. It could be a die chip or something similar.
