Hi I'm new to coin hunting and i found this 1941 wheat penny that looks different from the normal is it worth saving ?
Looks like environmental damage, post mint damage, normal circulation to me, The experts will confirm I believe.
Almost appears to also have some brass streaking, common for the wheat cents as an improper alloy mix. But def. environmental damage.
It looks very dark and not the right color. could be the lighting. It is an improperly mixed alloy, they are collected but don't carry much of a premium.
