I spent this past weekend in Fort Worth - mostly to see the grand kids and my daughter. They also had 2 50 table coins shows there going at the same time. I am sure that you are not interested in hearing about the 1st grade BB game or the zoo, but the coin shows both disappointed me and amazed me.

Disappointed - I found a total of less than 10 nice Lincolns in the 100 tables. No body had much of anything for sale. The only reasonably price slab I found was a 1931-S NGC MS-63 RB for $270. Price was fair for a 63, but the coin has a big baggie on the face, one on the bust, a scratch above the "ONE" and between the wheat ends. My 61's look better than it did. There were also 2 31-S's MS 64 RD price at $575 (grey sheet = $275 ask), 11-S MS63 RB for $375 (grey sheet = $215 ask) and someone want $250 for a 52-S NGC MS-67 (I stop bidding at $75 on eBay). They also had a 09-S MS65 RD for $1450 - both over priced and over my head.

Amazed - Mostly by the prices. I also met a couple dealers who were quite interested in seeing my Lincolns that I am going to slab when things calm down. They actually agreed with my grades and sounded like they knew what they were saying. They thought my 14-S had a shot at 64 BR, 16- 65 RD, 17- 65 RB with a star, and 29-D 65 RD. Someday soon - I hope.
