Forget Me Not Forties Friday! Post yours also....

In honor of Friday and the '40's, I present to you this new themed thread. To qualify, all your coin needs to be is from the '40's, ANY Century (Let's say the 17th-present).
The 1940's was a very difficult era of our history because of the war. Here is a holed coin from 1944.
Also, is an 1847 Large Cent that I, believe it or not found while detecting at the site of an Old one room schoolhouse. It was my very first Large cent and my best to date.
