Actually I don't overly object to these posts, this is where we gain new collectors in someone who has found something and might get enthusiastic about it. What bothers me is the person who finds a coin and has convinced themselves that it is worth a new Mercedes and can't accept the truth.

 

Who put the notion in their heads that these coins might have value?

 

And why is it their name is usually Tim?

 

I'd be willing to trade for some Wendy's coupons. Only 1 of which has expired.

 

Females seem to get more replies than males, i've seen, whenever someone makes a "omg what is this error" thread

 

Now that you got some responses your supposed to ignore all those and than make the declaration of how much your items worth. You can use any method you like to justify why, no matter how outlandish. You may have had absolutely no knowledge of your item when starting the thread. But it's 10 posts later and you have become the worlds foremost expert in these items and will be selling your windfall for at least 1,000,000 easily.

 

Insist that you know it is what you say it is, but ask how to submit it to one of those grader thingys to certify it.

You've forgotten a mandatory ingredient: a totally out of focus picture that fails to upload at least three times.

I just love the long prologue before they get to the point..
