    That exact statement was made when he first introduced the 1964-D Peace Dollar Overstrikes in 2010.

    Since he is NOT producing Counterfeit Coin but is simply over striking similar designs on authentic US coinage, I do not think that the Secret Service has much interest in his business.

    But, folks can believe whatever they want as his "defacement" is no more illegal than carving Hobo Nickels on authentic US Coins.

    ALL of the Moonlight Mints overstrikes can easily be confused with US Coins by folks who simply do not know any better.

    but i do believe that accounts for all his overstrikes, non minted in that particular year, or non minted with that combo of obv. rev. design..
