One of my more recent areas of focus has become interesting coins from Kazakhstan. This coin caught my eye and I finally purchased one this past week. It comes from the "Heritage of the Republic" series and features the Tobet (also known as the Kazakhstan Mountain Dog). The mintage total is 5,000 and it's 1 oz of silver. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tobet Here are some of my prior threads: https://www.cointalk.com/threads/this-caught-my-eye.331132/ https://www.cointalk.com/threads/the-collection-continues.349335/
RRRRRRROOOOOOOWWWWWWWWW !!!!! Sorry, I have a thorn in my paw.....Again. Cool coin D., really liking some of those designs.
Sorry @MeowtheKitty ...to even it out, I’ll post this Irbis (Kazakhstan Snow Leopard). It’s the silver bullion coin of Kazakhstan. The premiums are higher than the typical bullion coins (the 1 Oz size will cost around $30). I sold the 5 Oz version pictured below, but I’ve kept the 2 Oz and 1 Oz versions for my collection (they also come in 10 Oz; all the sizes feature the same design).
