Although China's Renminbi will not affect my currency collecting habits, I hope it's a move to help stem China's ongoing currency manipulation in the future.
That was my first thought also. It's still the currency of a communist nation that is into major manipulation of not only its currency but of its entire economy. Even with the manipulation that the U.S. Fed does, we haven't built any huge cities with no people in them. I can't help but wondering if China will eventually go through a catastrophic economic collapse.
