Queen Elizabeth rules the Bahamas. Queen Elizabeth rules Canada, here is a 1959 woody Canadian cent with a pointed 5 error. The very bottom is what the 5 in 1959 should look like, mine is pointed. A known variety IMG_1702.JPG IMG_1701.JPG IMG_2381.JPG

Hi @Tyler Graton nice coins but you may want to read the first page of this thread to understand the rules...The object of the game is to follow the leader by theme.. The theme is "waves".

In post #728 Tyler posted a coin with waves. In Post #729 he posted a different coin. I think he meant to change categories but forgot to tell us what the new category is.

No I said that queen Elizabeth is in control of both Bahamas and Canada so I figured I was on the subject of queen Elizabeth

Hey Tyler - I screw up often on here and some one may say grumpy words...but I am still a genius! Maybe a genius with a tall, pointed, cone shaped hat...

1981 New Zealand 50 cent proof. Has Liz and waves both. Next: NZ or 1981. I assume that is continuing the thread properly?

Depends on the thread :D. There are three mega threads right now...one is this one which is 'follow the theme'. Waves, QEII, horses, dates, whatever you pick is fine. It can be on the same coin (I do that because I'm too lazy to post two coins) or you can match the theme, then post a second coin to choose the next theme. Coins, medals, tokens etc. are all fair game.

The 'Coin Uno' thread is matching either the date or the country specifically (and it's very easy to mess up if you aren't looking at what page you're on...well actually that's true of all these threads). Coins/medals/tokens good here too officially.

The third big thread going is the 'follow the year'. Basically you either post a coin of the same year or post a coin one year earlier so the thread is slowly going back in time. The unofficial policy there is that you can post more than one coin (one coin is too hard to choose sometimes!) AND we try and give people a chance to post theirs...so no flipping the year too soon. The last part is a newer convention as the coins got more interesting. This is also a coin specific thread (ie no tokens/medals) as the whole point is to see how far the forum can go back without skipping a year.

Anyway, sometimes we all mess up/post the wrong coin/follow the wrong convention/or just plain post in the wrong thread. No biggie and just keep going, though someone will probably go back a post to get the thread back on track.

    So, NZ it is :D

And the next theme is an effigy looking right.
