    how about changing to coins with graffiti or counterstamps?

    Here is 1 from Scotland with a countermark on each side. 1 is official and the other believed to either a merchants or collectors mark.

    Princess Charlotte's Death Medal, the Rose of the state (plus the flowers on her hair piece).

    Interesting, if she and her son had not died then (to make a long story short) Victoria would not have been queen and her spontaneous hemophilia gene would not have entered so many royal houses via the marriages to her copious children.

    The birth was attended by someone who did not use forceps (and in that era that was more to save the mother's life), and if she had been delivered sooner, who knows how world history would have differed (with or without the survival of her son).

    A new theme...dead people.
