As far as I know (and I surely don't know it all!), the place is still called the Kingdom of Thailand, and the word Siam is used interchangeably. Siam is pronounced like "See Ahm". There is a big posh shopping mall in Bangkok called Siam Paragon, right on Sukhumvit Road. As always, the old "East is East" thing holds true.
Now, after all that chatter, I should post some animal coin.

I don't know who is it. Maybe a crocodile, maybe drunk hedgehog... This coin is 3 tange from Republic of Kazakhstan. I doubt about crocodiles, but there are definitely hedgehogs there.
