1947 GB-India Half rupee, Bombay mint. I think that is a brawny leopard on the reverse. Edit: Numista says it is an Indian tiger.

That is a great looking coin. Found a nice one for sale and had to break my rule about orders from Europe. Hope it arrives.

This one is kind of hard to see. The left hand image has a figure that looks kind of like eyeglasses. That represents a cobra standing, with hood spread. Maratha Empire/Confederacy 1674-1818 AE paisa, Muhiabad-Poona.
