Landscape/seascape on the reverse of an 1847 Liberian proof cent. Once one of my proudest pieces. Now property of @kazuma78.

PCGS PR65 BN. Still the finest one graded at either PCGS or NGC, as of this post.

Well, I am kind of proud to have all 3 of the Edward VII East Africa 50 cent coins, even though they are a bit circulated and used, still rather scarce. Guess I should get the 25 cent ones as well? Old Ed, the Playboy King, one of my heroes.

Shes a beaut! I did eventually get an MS 2 cent version to pair her with. These are pretty massive pieces.

They are amazing, the above posted die combination is the best, in my opinion. Usually you can find them in attractive MS grades for under $200 if you scour the internet hard enough.

I just made an offer on a PCGS MS63 BN. It's not the full head Maori type, but it's pretty cool. Stand by. I'll likely have joined the Kiwi Token Club within the afternoon. ;)

Here are a couple of medals that I do think I have posted yet. The white metal example is from the James Watt Jr. collection (with original suspension ring).

Guess we can count that as a "skyscape". Love the pelican.

Since that tilts our "landscape-seascape" axis somewhat skywards, let's have "sun, moon, skies and clouds" as our theme next.

    Ex-, alas. 'Tis another "bygone".

Click here and wait for the slow page load if you want to see the rest of my "bygones" from the last six or seven years. Including a couple which might look familiar to you. ;)

We now return to our previously scheduled programming. The current theme is "sun, moon, skies, & clouds". Resume.

A 17th century French Louis XIV brass jeton I found in some bulk junk recently. So it cost me mere pennies.

(Louis XIV was the "Sun King", as you may know.)
