Here is a tiny (under 10mm, ~0.6g) unpublished tin coin from the Musi River of Palembang, Sumatra. Attributed to the Srivijaya Empire.

Here are some unknowns who might remain that way.

 

A later Bhutan Half Rupee

 

1790-1840 Bhutan half rupee

 

Another Bhutan Deb

 

600-300 BC China "ant nose" money

 

Cyprus Crusaders denier of Peter II, 1369-1382

(Oops - This one actually does not fit the theme. It does have writing)

 

~1847 Cambodia 2 pe, a pair of them. That might be a Chinese character above the Hamsa bird? The reverse is blank.

 

This one probably fits the theme better. 540-570 Kashmir, Toramana II, AE Stater

Some so called "Gadhaiya Paisa" AR Dramma coins that came yesterday. 800-1300 AD, Indo-Sassanian. 3.96 to 4.14 grams, diameters from 14-15.5 mm.

 

Seems this thread got stuck, maybe I can dream up a new theme...How about a coin that you consider to be very artistic and interesting? Here is one my Secret Santa sent me and I just love it. 1919 Belgium 2 centimes.

Wow, that Havre de Grace sure is a beauty! I may have mentioned before, there is a town in the state of Maryland, USA by that name, and it is locally pronounced like "have a de graw", which might be close to the French pronunciation. The French and Italian coins of the late 19th and early 20th centuries are so often very beautiful. Here is a 1911 France 10 centimes, a bit worn.
