Have I posted this for this thread yet? I can't remember. Haven't been doing many new photos (or coins) so much which limits the options. Another Japanese coin with cool toning and the sun motif. It's a scarcer variety ('no border'). It came from a person in Japan who bought it at auction. It went for a 'low' price because of the toning and I am a bit amazed he wasn't outbid by someone who was going to dip it out. The toned coins are not so popular. Good for me.

Its an Indian temple token.

 

One of my favorite designs is the Sun and mountians on coins of the Central American Republic (CAR). These 8 Real coins are about the size of US silver dollars:
