It's not really "follow the lead" if you follow yourself lol.
Also, it's U.S. Coins/medals only. So i'll go off the last valid one you posted.

Wow, how many AU Barbers do you own? Fantastic coin. Here is an AU that I sold earlier this year.

I was just following my lead. Go back to the first page, the OP said in a few posts down that someone can follow their own post if they are fast enough. Also, it is not limited to only U.S. coins/medals (see first 2 pages of thread). Therefore, this thread has gone way off track and needs to go back to my 1902 penny.

If you want to change the rules, why not start another thread? This one is rather old. In fact, if no one has started a new one by tonight, I'll start a new one.

    PS Love the 1892!

    I was ranked # 1 at PCGS Registry for 2009, 2010 and 2011...............
only because Dale Friend, Steve Duckor and The Sunnywood Collections
    had retired prior to 2008.

I kept a couple of my favorites but auctioned off the majority at the Chicago ANA
    last Summer [ 2011 ] with Heritage.

I had two 1892-O's - Ty. 1 in PCGS 58 Green CAC and Ty. 2 in PCGS 55 Gold CAC

However, my favorite 1892-O was this one - ex: Shireman collection:

    I hope you are kidding.
The thread is in U.S. Coins. U.S. only. Deal with it.
Show me on the first 2 pages, or anywhere for that matter where a non U.S. item is posted.
Why would you possibly start a new thread? That makes no sense. Granted, I'm not a lawyer though. :)

Just look at the first two pages. I saw two examples that are not U.S., but please correct me if I am wrong. Also, I saw nothing in the actual rules or clarifications thereto that this is U.S. coins only. Being listed under US coins does give an inference, but is not conclusive, especially since the OP permitted non-US coins/medals within the first 2 pages.

I think a new thread would be refreshing and bring more people in because even people new to this thread open it up, they see it as an old thread and are more likely to move on.

If people want to modify the rules at this time, I am open to that because threads do take on a life of their own and do change over their life. I am not trying to be an a**, I just want to know the rules and have a fun time with this thread.

I was always under the impression that the thread was limited to US Coins since it is located in the US Coins forum, but the rules of the thread do not specifically prohibit foreign coins. The last coin you posted was a 1902 British Penny and the last coin posted was an 1892-O Barber Half Dollar. This coin should get us back on track and satisfy everyone's needs.

Sigh. There aren't any non US items on the first two pages. You know why? Because it's in u.s. coins. It's not up for interpretation. By all means start a new thread in coin chat. Call it "post anything".

Now if you will excuse me, I have to put in a new light bulb, even though the current one works perfect and is used by a lot of people. It will be refreshing.

I realize you have been here for well over a month and have probably posted upwards of 6 coins in this thread. Albeit half of them wrong. What do I know though? I have only been following this thread since it started and have only posted hundreds of items. Pardon my ignorance.

Hi folks. I'm the guilty party of starting this thread without 99 rules.
The thread was started in the spirit of having fun. I hope it has been for others.

Thanks Lehigh, only you could post that magic coin to put us on track.

It's my fault for being so technical and I apologize for that. :smile
