    OK, Ripley, the coin must be the same date or that same type of coin (i.e. Mercury dime cannot follow a Roosevelt dime, a Barber quarter cannot follow a Washington quarter). You followed with a cent, but not the exact type of cent. The next coin should be anything dated 1942 or an exact type of cent NickelGuy posted (could be same date or different date).
