    Here's another one. Hey, @SensibleSal66 - this one wouldn't break the bank! I paid 12 bucks for it. It's hard to see in the photos, but the date was (just barely) readable: it's an 1800.

    So 1800 or Draped Bust half cent, to the next person who posts.

    An 1805 half dime. This is a somewhat better date. It came from early half dollar specialist, Sheridon Downey, many years ago. I saw it in an ad he posted in Coin World.
