I took some advice from some other guy on here and made the picture, shrank it, and saved the percentage size of the original image so if I do some math I can get the original size back. I am still speaking english, right?

 

Unless you saved the original file in it's original size, you cannot convert back to it. You can only shrink without image quality degradation. You cannot go the other way. Well, you can, but it will be very blurry.

And for the record...an image width of around 780px wide is the perfect web size. That way it accommodates all screen resolutions, tablets, and most modern smart phones.
