I finally made the plunge and bought an Indian.
Just wish I pulled the trigger last year when I could have bought a higher grade for the same price. C’est la vie.
I normally prefer clean (not cleaned) coins, but I like the way the devices look on this, especially the reverse.

1899 Reverse Type 2 (1900-1905) transition variety - early release. Compare left leaf veins and corn kernels with 1900-S above to see design change. Note that ldhair's 1905 above is Reverse Type 3 (1901-1916) with the thick right ribbon added.

 

Should be plenty of series to play off of this coin...
