This is the most updated photo of this coin I have. Picked it up in 2008 and never regretted it! PCGS MS 65 BN
rlm, but you have a great 23 s and I need one of them. The 21 is easy but it is worth holding out for a really nice one (or one in wood).
I actually have 2 23-S's. However, the one above is genuine cleaned. The other is rather similar, but 63RB. I cost me all of $31 plus grading fees. I bought the one above in a set of 3, but I guarantee I paid more than $31 for it. On the other hand, I have been looking for a 21- 65RB or 65BN for at least a year and have not yet seen one. Heritage just sold 3 23-S's - OUCH! (Or should I say YEA since mine are nicer, IMO.) As for the 21-'s, one earlier this year that went for nearly $300 and one I missed last year.
I sold this one a couple years ago, one of the coolest looking quarters I've ever owned and another ex. Dale Friend coin. I saw that it's back up for sale at the Stacks/Bowers ANA PreShow Auction Lot No. 863 and I think my photo is much more accurate than the catalog photo:
