    It has to be of the same series, and denomination, not just denomination.

    Also on this page, there was supposed to be a quarter posted or a coin dated 1954, but dimeguy had made a mistake by posting a Roosevelt Dime, as his post wasn't quick enough. Then the next coin was a 1996 commemorative. I have no clue why a 2003 Nickel was posted.

    The next coin should still be a coin dated 1954, or a Washington Quarter.
