This specimen from South Vietnam is not my note. But if anyone ever sees a copy for sale, PLEASE let me know. I think it's just a stunning piece of work.

The ABNCo specimen notes are actually somewhat common, appearing frequently on eBay, at least in raw uncertified offerings. I too need to get around to acquiring one for my ABNCo collections.

Speaking of ABNCo. How about an 1893 Worlds Columbian Exposition ticket from the Chicago fair. I love this one amongst all - but they are all fantastic pieces:

I like waaaaaay too many things!:D

Paper money may take a backseat for a couple of months ( http://www.cointalk.com/t148477/ ) - There is a pile of notes included but nothing in high grades - mainly foreign and a few Canadian.

I missed one of these at one of the shows in the fall. It was sold a few minutes before I got to the table. Rough condition, I think it went for $10.

I'm very excited to see what you get from this collection! Good luck, keep us posted. I have been reading that thread too but haven't posted there yet.

Krispy is correct, the 1929 ABNCo Specimen note I posted IS quite common....but, what makes it special to me is that I bought it from my friend John Spinelli, owner of CGA Notes. Kinda ironic that it's in a PCGS holder.
