The Republic of Hawaii shows "The Union Jack "under the Globe The $100 Hawaiian Islands Note shows the "Stars and Stripes " under the Globe
diggit, what are you doing with a counterfeit $100 lol. just curious, but how long has canada had color coded notes? for some reason i was under the impression that it was a fairly recent trend, but some of your notes show it has been around for quite a while. this one not as old as yours, but this is the devil in hair.
I've come across a number of counterfeit notes at my job. The notes get donated (if we don't know who passed them) to a friend of mine who uses them to train the police and RCMP in Counterfeit Banknote Detection. Every note I've submitted has been created a different way and all were passable, as long as you didn't examine them very closely. Color coding (I assume you mean a different color for each denomination) has been around long before the Bank of Canada notes. It dates back to the mid-1800's.
