A quick peek into the Red Book shows: 1816 - Large Cent (not all that expensive) 1815 - Quarter (not all that expensive), Half (expensive), Half Eagle (prohibitively expensive) So it looks like only one coin reasonably available for each year.
I got a couple more in the teens can't remember at the moment I know I have 1813 and from 1793-1810 I think I have almost everything a few of my real stars are 1794 95 1800 and 06
Got a few in the 1780s too am out having a beer (big surprise) and dinner and (big surprise) watching the sox game
Get me to 1810 and I don't have a hole til 1792 and if I could afford a half disme I'd have that too lol it's right up at the top of my wish list with a small eagle half and a 1794 dollar
For a fair fair price of $38,000, a 1792 half disme could be yours! http://www.ebay.com/itm/1792-HALF-DISME-PCGS-F-12-DETAILS-AMAZING-NUMISMATIC-AMERICANA-/350632829049
Find me a winning lottery ticket first and I'll be a player there was one at ha a while back holed and plugged that was around 18k still outta my reach but getting closer
I'm "hot and cold" about the 1792 half dime. It's not a business strike. It's classified as a pattern. If I had the extra money for one I would certainly go shopping. But my whole collection is based on business strikes plus a few major varieties. No Stella for me. No 1895 Morgan either. I have enough trouble coming up with the money for the coins that I REALLY want to complete some sets. The various 1790's designs are my biggest problem now.
I'm currently high bidder on an 1815 25 cent I think partially cause we need one for this it won't end til the 3rd tho
Maybe this is one of the times that, for the sake of the thread, we need to take a picture from the internet to keep it going?
