1864 Large Motto Two Cent MS65BN PCGS This one is no longer mine but I sure liked it while I had it ... Enjoy! Best Regards, George
I really like that longstanding Mexican Cap and Rays design, Ripley. The U.S. Mint "borrowed" it in 1836 for their first pattern gold dollars ... a coin I have always wanted to own! Best Regards, George
Yep Giorgio I like Mexican silver from the Aztec era to today. You have a very extensive and varied collection too.
1/2 Cent Nova Scotia MS63BN PCGS The British farthing design adopted in 1860 was reused for the 1861 Nova Scotia half cent, showing Queen Victoria wearing a low-cut gown. The design also appears on the unofficial New Brunswick half cent. Nova Scotia only made half cents in 1861 and 1864, a reported 400,000 of each. The reverse shows the Imperial State Crown and a wreath of mayflower (Nova Scotia's official flower) and roses. This MS63 BN piece is one of seven such at PCGS, and only four are finer. It has great eye appeal for the grade and scattered mint red still remaining. Enjoy! Best Regards, George
Okay, now for the 1849. It's got two things going for it. First, it was struck at Charlotte (see the "C" mint mark). Second, I didn't get my reverse image turned; there's about a 90° die rotation.
