I will count Diana as "one human" and the hound as the "other canine" in this AR Roman Republican denarius of C. Hosidius C. f. Geta from Rome, 68 BC.
    Hosidia denarius.jpg
Obv: Draped bust of Diana right, wearing stephane, earring, and necklace, and with bow and quiver over shoulder; III VIR downwards to left, GETA downwards to right
Rev: The Calydonian boar standing right, its front legs thrust forward, pierced through by a spear and harried by a hound below; C HOSIDI C F in exergue
    Ref: Crawford 407/2

The Calydonian boar was sent by Diana to ravage the lands of Calydon in Aetolia, where the King Oeneus had not afforded her the proper rites and respect. With the citizens cowering behind city walls, a hunt was organized and the lone female hunter, Atalanta, was the first to draw blood when she pierced the boar through its side with her spear.

    Nice :) !
Yours is one of the 26 specimen of RIC 17 that I found.
Those were, according to Woodward, struck with four obverse dies and six reverse dies.
Your Sestertius´ obverse die is Woodward AV 2 (illustrated in Woodward, plate XII, Nr.3, and BMC 27, plate 2, Nr.2), and it should be a double die match with the coin illustrated in Banti, Nr.11.

"Earliest Roman fourrée". Probably this - Cr. 141/1 of 189-180BC.

There are quite a few plated coins of this issue and most (or all?) of them feature quite a large-looking bird on the reverse, not the little wren-like bird found on the solid silver coins - e.g. this one:

Presumably so the forgers would recognise their work?

Next - a different bird on an Roman coin.
