I'm just excited to finally add a Boeotia Shield to my collection. I've looked for a long time and all the ones I saw were not as well centered as this one.

FORT RED P M TR P XIIII COS III P P / SC. Orichalcum 30.5 mm, 26.18 gr. Yellow copper, red stains. S. 6921. Bought from a seller named Jakob in Istanbul, December 1974.
    This coin is sort-of-an-ancestor of the 19th and 20th century British penny.
