However nobody has an idea what could it be (tripod? I see an antelope with a dolphin between horns but this doesn't make sense)

Here's a coin issued by Quintus Pompeius Rufus featuring his grandfathers, Sulla (maternal) and an earlier Q. Pompeius Rufus (paternal), both of whom were consuls in 88 BC. Unfortunately corroded and scratched, but a rare enough coin.

    Moneyer: Q. Pompeius Rufus
Obv.: SVLLA . COS - Head of Sulla right
Rev.: RVFVS COS / Q POM RVFI - Head of Q. Pompeius Rugus right
    Mint: Rome (54 BC)
    Wt./Size/Axis: 3.23g / 18mm / -

I was beginning to think that no one was willing to confess to a jail-break. Here's a coin that might have been better not to set free: - a coin of Elagabalus that was labeled as Caracalla - you would think the head-gear was easy to recognize. (Krengel, E. “Das sogenannte “Horn” des Elagabal – Die Spitze eines Steierpenis”, Jahrbuch fur Numismatik und Geldgeschichte 47 (1997))
Elagabalus sacrificing.jpg Elagabalus (218-222), AR Denarius, Rome, AD 221
Obv: IMP ANTONINVS - PIVS AVG, laureate, horned, cuirassed and draped bust right
Rev: P M TR P IIII COS - III P P, emperor standing left, sacrificing out of patera over altar and holding branch on left, star above patera on his right, two standards on his left

Next: a coin that you purchased mis-attributed
