    not a denarius, but a quinarius minted in Spain, issued by Carisius in the newly founded city of Augusta Emerita.

    Yaudheya republic, circa 200-300 AD.
    Hindu god of war Kartikeya, holding spear and rooster with the Brahmi script saying 'Yaudheya Ganasya Jaya' meaning 'Victory to the people of Yaudheya'. Reverse has a goddess (possibly Kaumari, the female aspect of Kartikeya).
