    A tetartemorion was 1/64th a Drachm. Definitely small change. incredible skill of the die-cutter.

    Although the term is still used, and used in the old RIC volumes, Liberalitas is not holding an abacus, it is a coin dispenser or coin counter. You can clearly see this on the large sestertii with Liberalitas standing on a platform and people receiving a certain, counted, sum of money.
