Yes, I see what you did there, and let me put you on notice that politicizing the forums is verboten, subtle though this instance was.

I've let those posts stand- they skate the edge of the line but didn't quite cross it, in my judgment. And they miraculously hadn't been flagged yet (I stumbled across 'em myself). But let's have no more of those kind of allusions, please. True or not, and regardless of anyone's viewpoint, they're entirely too volatile in present times.

If you want to post about politics here, it had better be about Julio-Claudian court intrigues or the rivalry between Athens and Sparta, capische? ;)

    Leave the current stuff alone.

I like this helmet.... kinda rad - yet providing surprisingly little protection.

If you've got the monster Scylla chucking stones from atop your helmet, I think that qualifies as a "rad helmet".

Greece (Spartans in Taras, Calabria, Italy): silver drachm; Athena and owl, ca. 302-281 BC

I reserve the term 'fallen' for the relatively fewer Falling Horseman coins that show the action of 'falling' completed with the enemy off the horse and on the ground.

I'd say Rome. I don't have an Eastern Spes to show but this later Moneta gives the idea.
