    Next: another coin with a spotted panther -- properly called a leopard, since there is no separate species of animal called a panther. Black panthers are just leopards or jaguars with black fur, with the spots obscured.

    Rev: Leaping ram (Aries) looking back at star in crescent above, EΠIKOYADPATOY (translation is “reign of Quadratus”) dated ETEP
    Note: 25th Anniversary of Resurrection & 60th Anniversary of Birth
    ETEP= 105 or 56/7AD (Caesarian Era starting 49BC)
    Ref: This was minted during the first years of Nero’s reign in Rome (misattributed at McAlee 125a in the auction listing - I think the correct references are McAlee 102; RPC I 4290).

    Next: continuing the celestial theme: planets, stars, zodiac, sky, moon, sun...

    I can't help but think the reverse of this coin refers to the constellation Leo:

    Obv: Apollo Didymeus standing right, holding small stag and bow; monogram below.
    Rev: Lion seated right with head turned to left, star above, monogram right, ΑIΣXΥΛΙΝΟΥ in exergue.
    Refs: Deppert 941-56 var; Marcellesi 56.
