Hi NewStyleKing - not sure that I interpret properly your intention for "altered coin" - I am linking to New Style Teradrachm. Here's my thinking: this coin shows a Salus, seated (RIC 714), which was also issued as a Salus, standing (RIC 715), - that is an "altered" version between two similar coins. As a backup: this coin has clearly been cleaned ("altered") at some point since its original minting >1800 years ago. CNG Auction listings show the standing version issued later than enthroned, but I don't know what reference they base this on.
    Faustina II Salus .jpg
Faustina Junior, Augusta, AD 147-175, AR Denarius, Rome mint. Struck under Marcus Aurelius, circa AD 161-175.
Obv: FΛVSTINΛ ΛVGVSTΛ, a draped bust right, wearing stephane, hair waved and fastened in a bun on the back of her head
Rev: SΛLVS, Salus, draped, enthroned, resting left elbow on the arm of her throne, and feeding from a patera with her right hand a snake, coiled around and rising from an altar to her left
    Ref: RIC III 714 (Aurelius)

Next: a standing Salus (does not need to be a denarius or Faustina Jr.)

An altered coin is one that had a change made to the die like the New Style had in the month code on the amphora. Below is a tetradrachm of Ptolemy II with the date lambda gamma recut to read lambda delta (overdate 34/33).

12 hours has passed. Would someone who never gets to play like to restart with a coin of your choice and a 'Next' that someone else might have.
