    You would think that the "ancient super power" Persia should have made higher quality coinage like their Greek counterparts. Maybe portraits of their, "King of kings" with a God on reverse. Also should have minted larger gold coinage like a 10 Daric/ 5 Daric pieces;)

    I have one, and I enjoy the history around it. Mine is an overstrike (typical of this period), and @TIF was wonderful helping solve the original overstruck coin.

    I cannot wait until she finds one. Anticipating her post!
