    We coin collectors are lucky that Titus Flavius Vespasianus senior never used the name Titus on his coins while Titus Flavius Vespasianus second of his name always did (at least the abbreviation T). We call him Titus. This is an as.

    The answer to mine was posted before I asked for it.

    I believe Pescennius Niger had as good a claim on empire as Septimius but we will never know if he was good or bad for Rome. If the request said died rather than killed, I would definitely said Titus who died of natural causes so fits this thread now.
