It's probably time for a different coin type. I don't think anyone has farmer milking goat, camel, sheep, cows, bulls, horses, etc.

There is a reverse of a goatherd milking a goat on denarii of Vespasian and Titus. This post was probably directed at one of our Flavian fanatics.

@David Atherton must have one of these (this isn't my coin)...

In the meantime, maybe this can count? Sure looks like they're milking (rather than suckling) to me! (And I must say that the goatherd above does not look like he's milking... o_O)

YEAH! You are finally getting some!!! Wow! Your reverse depicts one the horses from the Carousel of Carthage! Cool! All the kids used to love riding that at their county fairs... oh, wait... nope... not for another 2000 years. Ok, nice! The Caduceus reverse is awesome! Hard to get... great snare, and a 2nd Punic War to boot! Congrats! Well done...now I want one... :)

Always loved goat-boy on the reverse... reminds me of the county fairs when I grew up. And, hey! Nice REACH into Roma BCE! :)

OK, but that is definitely some city boy pretending to be a goatherd. Since when do you milk a goat from there?! :confused:o_O:D

Looks more like a scene from All Creatures Great and Small to me.
