Hello everyone, FOG - Found On Ground, I didn't get a chance to Metal Detect this weekend. But I'm always on the lookout for any kind of coin or treasure. This morning I was waiting for my wife to come down from her mom's apartment so we could head to our church service. She knows I like to walk around the grassy areas around the building.. I eyeballed a 1972 Kennedy Half Dollar on the roots of a tree! I will take it!
It was right on top of the soil. Next to the roots. Strange. Some things just can't be explained. It was surprising for me!
Wow, what are the odds? You can't find a Kennedy in circulation let alone sitting on the ground. My girlfriend now fiancé asked how do I always FOG. I explained I was taught by my father to always look down. Money is not going to float past in the air. So what does she FOG? A $100 bill on the sidewalk at Mardi Gras. Beat anything I ever found.
