In short, I probably won’t get to keep that C-note, regardless (I’m not holding my breath, in any event.)  If I do eventually get to keep it, that would be a pleasant surprise.  But even if I do not (which seems likely), I still get to know I did the right thing- and it boosts my already-solid reputation with upper management and coworkers for being honest.  So it’s all good either way.[/QUOTE]
