Flip Over Double Struck Error

A 1988 One Cent graded by IGC as MS-64RD. It’s zinc but it’s a nice, not often seen genuine mint error. I’m pleased to add this to my collection.

That is a great addition and a seldom seen version of a double struck coin. Nice to see

 

Is it a reverse of '88 or '89?

 

Not that I know of.

 

It is what is called a flared G and is considered a type 2 or transitional reverse.

I like the fact that it’s flipped over and noted on the label. On both sides of the coin is both sides of the coin.
